Right-Tech Auto Repair & Service owner Van Angastiniotis began working on cars at the age of five when he built his first motorized go-kart. From that time forward, he knew what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Van was fortunate enough to complete his secondary education at Westwood Secondary School, which then had the best automotive program in the Mississauga area. After he graduated from high school, Van went on to attend the automotive program at Centennial College and subsequently graduated with top honors and a degree in automotive technology.
After completing college, Van worked tirelessly toward fulfilling his dream of owning and operating an auto repair service center. He apprenticed at new car dealers and independent auto repair shops for many years, and all his training helped him successfully pass and obtain his Certificate of Qualification for both cars and trucks (the 310s and 310t Red Seal licenses) and become an Emission Repair Technician. Van also has his material handling licenses, along with many others.
In 1998, Van’s dream of owning an auto repair shop became a reality when he opened Right-Tech Auto Repair & Service with his father, Andy. The old shop wasn’t far from the current location on Derry Road. Indeed, a lot has changed over the years, but Van’s passion for quality cars and auto repair is as strong as ever. He truly loves being a shop owner and serving the communities of Mississauga, Woodbridge, Brampton, Etobicoke, Rexdale, Malton, Weston, Kingsway, as well as other parts of the greater Toronto area.
If you’re looking for a skilled mechanic in the Mississauga area, call Van and the team at Right-Tech Auto Repair & Service. When it comes to auto repair, passion makes all the difference.
